Enjoying a truly idyllic setting in 17 peaceful acres of Exmoor National Park Dean Steep boasts some of the most breathtaking panoramic views in Devon. Wonderful moorland and riverside walking unfolds from your door with footpaths through the lush rolling pastureland. You can also enjoy shared use of the pretty gardens with their fishponds walkways and quiet suntraps. This is an exceptionally beautiful area perfect for lovers of nature photography riding fishing rambling and cycling. Just 2 miles away are the twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth connected by their unique water powered railway and the sandy beach at Lee Bay. Doone Valley the Valley of the Rocks superb coastal walks NT properties Barnstaple Minehead and Dunster are all within easy reach.

If you are after a quiet relaxing holiday then this is the place to be. There are plenty of things to do we like walking so it was brilliant that there were plenty of walks from the park to Lynton and Lynmouth and if you cant face the walk back you can get a bus back! Mrs K

This was our third visit to Dean Steep a warm welcome each time convienient to tourist attractions and plenty of peace and quiet - we will be going back! Mr M

The location is excellant very helpful owners and if you are a dog owner it is most suitable as large fields back onto property. Mrs M
