Commanding an impressive location overlooking the picturesque Wigtown Bay and with direct access to a secluded sandy beach Auchenlarie is ideal for an active family holiday or peaceful and relaxing short break.
This beautifully landscaped park also boasts its very own Health Club complete with indoor pool gym sauna and solarium. The local area boasts historic castles and houses through to scenic forest and hill walks plus over 30 golf courses and fishing all within easy reach.
If you are looking for a quieter pace there is a superb restaurant and a choice of two different bars. Alternatively you can simply relax in the comfort of your own holiday home and savour the superb sea views and beautiful scenery.
Due to the steep gradients and steps the park is not suitable for wheelchair users and those people with mobility difficulties.

We really enjoyed our weekend at Auchenlarie and found our accommodation excellent and with the park entertainment it was very good value for money. It was lovely to have a bottle of champagne delivered to our caravan upon arrival. Mrs P
The park is scenic clean and the other residents were very friendly to us and especially to my husband who received a very warm reception at the leisure centre - they sang a Happy Birthday to him! Mrs T
Watching the sun rise and set was the perfect way to start and finish what proved to be a thoroughly relaxing break - even with an active three year old! We had a great break the park was in a wonderful position overlooking the ocean and the accommodation and park in general was superb. We had four kids and one dog and we were away to stretch our legs this we did visiting many areas of outstanding beauty. The area knocks spots of the Lake District and we are going back next year! We stayed at Aucenlarie in Dumfries and Galloway and I would like to commend the staff for their helpfulness and friendliness when our car broke down on leaving the park. They made us some tea and allowed us to use the phone and wait in the reception with our pesty 14 month old son - they were fantastic! Mr M
We had a wonderful and relaxing family break. The park was the perfect size not too big and not too small so our children were able to have a little freedom without us feeling it was jampacked with people and we felt that they were safe. The location of it was perfect as it had beautiful views over the sea and the children particularly enjoyed skimming stones into the sea at night. We were recommended the park and we would definitely recommend to our friends too! Mr S

The holiday fulfilled all our requirements and more with very comfortable accommodation and friendly and helpful staff.
