In an idyllic setting surrounded by an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity these secluded lodges are nestled in 25 acres of woodland and boast five well stocked fishing lakes. Situated between the North Devon towns of Bideford Barnstaple and Torrington the lodges are set down a picturesque tree lined woodland drive at the entrance to Bulworthy Forest and offer the perfect environment for a relaxing and memorable holiday. There is a sandy beach just 5 miles away with shops and a pub within 4 miles.

Enjoy the free carp and coarse fishing available. The beautiful surrounding woods invite leisurely rambles and are home to an abundance of wildlife and a variety of flora and fauna.

Due to the steep gradients and steps Bulworthy Forest Lodges are not suitable for wheelchair users or persons with severe mobility difficulties.

Our lodge (Chestnut) was beautiful - an lovely and sunny elevated position overlooking the lake very spacious with a seperate fully covered hot tub which was idylic. The owner popped in to say hello and to check everything was OK - nice friendly man who obviously cares about his properties. The forest setting is so peaceful and feels very secluded. if you want total peace and relaxation bulworthy forest is the place to go. It rained the whole week we were there and it didt matter. this place prooves that you dont need all the fancy trimmings to have a good holiday. Mrs R

Our visit to Bulworthy Lodges was excellent we couldn't have asked for more. As long as you have a car to get around then there is loads to see then when you get back to your lodge you have peace and quiet with beautiful scenery - and a hot tub to help you to relax! The lodge was beautiful spacious and clean and the tranquil setting was absolute bliss so peaceful. Sitting in the hot tub looking down at the lake you had a "Snow White" experience with the squirrels blackbirds and wildlife all around you - absolute heaven! Mrs S
