Chestnut at Bulworthy Forest Lodges

In an idyllic setting surrounded by an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity these secluded lodges are nestled in 25 acres of woodland and boast five well stocked fishing lakes. Situated between the North Devon towns of Bideford Barnstaple and Torrington the lodges are set down a picturesque tree lined woodland drive at the entrance to Bulworthy Forest and offer the perfect environment for a relaxing and memorable holiday. There is a sandy beach just 5 miles away with shops and a pub within 4 miles.

Enjoy the free carp and coarse fishing available. The beautiful surrounding woods invite leisurely rambles and are home to an abundance of wildlife and a variety of flora and fauna.

Due to the steep gradients and steps Bulworthy Forest Lodges are not suitable for wheelchair users or persons with severe mobility difficulties.

Our lodge (Chestnut) was beautiful - an lovely and sunny elevated position overlooking the lake very spacious with a seperate fully covered hot tub which was idylic. The owner popped in to say hello and to check everything was OK - nice friendly man who obviously cares about his properties. The forest setting is so peaceful and feels very secluded. Our visit to Bulworthy Lodges was excellent we couldn't have asked for more. As long as you have a car to get around then there is loads to see then when you get back to your lodge you have peace and quiet with beautiful scenery - and a hot tub to help you to relax!
