Central to a lot of places to visit. Very tranquil setting - definite place to recharge your batteries! Mrs W

We had a fantastic stay at Conifer Lodges. Everything from our warm greeting on arrival our wonderful lodge and the fabulous setting made our short stay too short. Mark was great as was all the staff and the lodges are in a great location with too much to do to fit into four days. Our two boys aged 15 and 11 had a great time on this safe and accessible park please pass on our thanks to all concerned - we will be back this year! Mr S

If you want a tranquil holiday then this is the place. Immaculate lodges and surroundings with plenty to do in the area. My inlaws are already wanting to book next year they had better get in quick! Mr H

Warm welcome an immaculate park an excellent location and a spotless lodge. Kirroughtree cycle and walking paths through Galloway forrest are 10 minutes away with routes suitable for all. 10 minutes walk from gorgeous Newton Stewart Cree Bridge Hotel is lovely for meals and Cree cafe has wonderful home made soup. There is a lovely cycle path along River Cree and horse riding and Galloway Sailing Centre (sailing archery outdoor lazer quest)are within 50 minutes drive. I would highly recommend it for a quiet holiday but it is also within easy reach of varied activities. Mrs S

This is a basic site which adds to its appeal. It doesn't have a shop or bar and only a small play area which means it attracts the sort of people who are after a peaceful break in beautiful surroundings. The Ranger's advice on places to visit was excellent Mrs H

The staff at the park were extremely helpful and the lodges were lovely. A brilliant area for mountain biking and lots to see and do - we will definitely be going back! Miss T
