Home from home accommodation - we could not ask for better. A wonderful area and well placed for exploring Whitby and the surrounding area. Mrs M

The accommodation was very good and to a high standard. The amenities were clean and organised and only a 2 minute drive into Whitby centre. The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool and even in mid November we still had a very enjoyable break! Mr L

My friends and I really enjoyed Captain Cook's Haven. The views were lovely and we could even see the abbey from the bridge - it was very peaceful. The cottage was clean and I was particularly impressed with how clean the kitchen was. Miss H

A home from home in a great location with real tourist venues and scenery nearby - couldn't fault it! Mr M

Fantastic views and superb location. Mrs W

I would recommend this holiday to everyone. We had a busy week and went everywhere within a 20 mile radius of the site and beyond on a couple of occasions and found everywhere very accessible but the views are beautiful from the site so you don't need to much if you don't want to. It's a must stay if you like steam trains as it is so close to the North York Moors Railway BRILLIANT. Mrs M

The park is so well situated and makes access to Whitby and surroundings so easy. We found it nice and quiet because there are not loads of cottages on top of each other. The cottages are spread out over a big area. We had a great view over the river and bridge. The cottage was luxurious well equipped for self catering with a very high standard of furnishing. The pool was brilliant and the fact that you have your own key and could access it during the day when it suits you was really great. It meant we could go when it was quiet and that was more relaxing. We all had a lovely time and will definitely consider it again in future. Dr D

A location we would choose again for a family holiday. Mrs H

It was an ideal touring base in a lovely setback area it was home from home. Mrs B

Excellent location and accommodation. Cottages were well furnished and equipped very clean and well maintained. Very helpful and friendly staff made the holiday even more enjoyable. Swimming pool changing rooms and surrounding areas exceptionally well maintained. The site as a whole was a credit to the park staff. Mr T
