Set in 130 acres of beautiful Devonshire countryside on the edge of Dartmoor just half an hour from the sea and boasting outstanding leisure facilities Finlake is the perfect holiday getaway. Relax on a romantic short break or enjoy a fun-filled family holiday – the choice is yours.

Due to steep gradients and steps Finlake is not suitable for wheelchair users or persons with mobility difficulties.

The fabulous leisure complex includes a heated indoor pool superb fitness centre well-equipped gym sauna steam room and the Finesse beauty centre. Recently refurbished the Retreat bar and restaurant offers lunch and à la carte evening meals.

Children will love the outdoor pool with its water slide and the outdoor adventure playground. Outdoor tennis courts a challenging 9-hole pitch and putt course and two coarse fishing lakes provide sporting opportunities for everyone.

What a wonderful place and all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The park is lovely and clean and there is plenty to do. Don't let our British weather put you off the idea of holidaying in Devon we encountered many days of rain during our week yet we still managed to have a fun packed holiday. A big plus was the hot tub we used it every day come rain or shine. The accommodation was excellent packed with lots of little things that you wouldn't normally find in a holiday let like books board games DVDs and a flat screen TV. The quality of food in the retreat bar/restaurant was fantastic and good value for money. A recommended day out is "Go Ape" just up the road at Haldon Forest Park it is not for the faint hearted but was tremendous fun and well worth the money. All in all a holiday we would definitely repeat and suggest others try too. Mrs S

Our holiday at Finlake was fantastic. Our County Four Plus cabin was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The large gated decking area around the cabin was perfect for our two small children and the hot tub was a fabulous treat for us at the end of the day. We used the indoor pool a few times as the weather was not great but we found a sunny afternoon to enjoy the nine hole golf course. The park has much to offer whatever the weather. We're thinking of booking again for an autumn break. Mrs O

We booked a last minute holiday and could not of asked for more - it was relaxing pleasureable and within easy reach of the motorway to get out and about. We went with my 3 children aged 6 2 and 4 months and my 6 year old enjoyed the break so much she cried when we had to leave! We would definitely go back Miss W
