Whitby and surrounding areas are beautiful and it is a lovely place for children as the beaches are clean. Ms D
The location of this particular place is excellent. There is a lovely swimming pool views of the river not forgetting the railway line with the steam trains running back & forth which is exciting for both children & adults. Also there are very good walks which start right at your door step. The beach and the town is within a mile from the Haven. Great pub food trips to sea fabulous shops climbing 199 steps to the Abbey gorgeous ice cream. What more could one ask for. Mr G
I would certainly recommend this holiday as the park is a lovely and quiet in a unique private location with a lovely outlook overlooking the river. Mr M
The park was lovely and in a great location within walking distance of the town - we would definitely go back! Miss P
The small cluster of accommodation that forms Captain Cook's Haven nestle picturesquely on the southern side of the lower Esk valley with beutiful views. The location is very quiet and the silence is only occasionally disturbed by the passing of a steam train on the single track line that goes between Whitby and Pickering. The park is ideally suited for visiting both attractions on the North East coast and the North Yorkshire Moors. Mrs B
I would recommend this holiday as the accommodation is in a lovely peaceful location. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the centre of Whitby. Miss W
