Peacefully set around a picturesque 6-acre lake these beautifully designed Scandinavian log lodges offer a luxurious and tranquil base for a truly relaxing holiday.

A host of outdoor pursuits await in the local area with fly-fishing golf clay pigeon shooting and jetskiing all available within just a mile. The village of Brandesburton with two pubs a restaurant and shop is nearby.

A great location for York. The quality of the lodges are excellent and this was our second visit to this park. The hot tub is definitely a nice touch and we will be returning again next year! Miss S

We chose this as a romantic late break for our anniversary. However. my wife was unexpectedly booked in for surgery after we had booked the holiday but it turned out that it was an ideal place for her to recover - quiet and peaceful and the ducks were lovely and put a smile on my wife's face when they came to visit her each morning. I can safely say we will use the lodge holidays again as the standards are so high in lodgings and location that we want to go back for the romantic break we originally planned. Mr L

We stayed here last year and have just got back home from another great experience at Dacre Lakeside Park and we are already planning our break here for next year! There was nothing more relaxing than being sat in the hot tubs with a drink! I would recommend it to anyone that I haven't already! Miss S

This was the first time we have stayed at Dacre Lakeside Park and we are seriously considering making this a yearly holiday. The lodge had everything you could possibly need to get started after a long journey and the staff were happy to give directions to local shops and the nearest supermarket. The information pack did provide some ideas of things to do which we explored and thoroughly and enjoyed. Mr R

A super location and a lovely relaxing park. The cabin was decorated and fitted to a high standard and served our family well (2 adults and baby). We had a fantastic time and would definitely return! Mr C
