Peacefully set around a picturesque 6-acre lake these beautifully designed Scandinavian log lodges offer a luxurious and tranquil base for a truly relaxing holiday.

A host of outdoor pursuits await in the local area with fly-fishing golf clay pigeon shooting and jetskiing all available within just a mile. The village of Brandesburton with two pubs a restaurant and shop is nearby.

Windsurfing* canoeing* fishing and tennis* are available on site along with a clubhouse with bar and games room (available Mar 1–Oct 31) (weekends only) Barbecues* and patio heaters* are also available.

We had a fantastic time! My girlfriend loved the ducks and swans and the accommodation was excellent roomy romantic and relaxing. Really quiet and peaceful and the local pub is great quality the meals are huge and the price is cheap. The weather was not great but it was no problem as there is so much to do - thank you! Mrs W

A very warm and genuine welcome awaits you at this fantastic and tranquil park which has excellent village facilities within short walking distance (the local chippy is excellent value). The lodge facilties are second to none from the gorgeous interiors of the lodge to the comfy bed and the excellent hot tub. The accommodation is second to none in terms of quality. The pictures on Hoseasons simply do not do the lodge (Dragonfly) justice. I would highly recommend a stay at this park. Mr H

This was the first time we have stayed at Dacre Lakeside Park and we are seriously considering making this a yearly holiday. The lodge had everything you could possibly need to get started after a long journey and the staff were happy to give directions to local shops and the nearest supermarket. The information pack did provide some ideas of things to do which we explored and thoroughly and enjoyed. Mr R

If your looking for a nice break peace and quiet in a very tranquil setting you would be hard pushed to better Dacre park. Take some fishing tackle we stopped in the Dragon Fly and fished from the balcony. The hot tub is super the layout of the lodge was great if there was a catch it was the fact we had to go home ! Mr H
