Hayling Island is a great base for you to explore the surrounding area by either car or using public transport. The sights and shops in Portsmouth were good and it was not too expensive to get the Ferry or Hovercraft over to the Isle of Wight to explore there. Overall a great holiday and we would go back again. Mrs B
