Captain Cook's Haven is beautifully set on two levels nestling beside the banks of the River Esk as it winds its way from the rugged beauty of the North Yorkshire Moors towards the bustling seaside resort of Whitby just a mile away.
These cottages offer an ideal touring centre for exploring the nearby fishing villages sandy bays and seaside resorts. You enjoy the use of a superb indoor heated swimming pool and alongside the pool is an exciting playground for children of all ages.
The historic city of York Castle Howard and the North Yorkshire Moors National Park are also within easy reach.
The North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway also runs from Whitby to Pickering and passes Captain Cook's Haven.
Enjoy a ride or walk along the old railway track towards Robin Hood's Bay 6 miles.

This is a gorgous site - lovely and quite but familys are welcome. We where very impressed with the cottages and the provisions inc. especially with a baby everything was perfect!! the veiw was amazing and a great location to either whitby or scarbourgh. Miss K

We usually always go abroad for our holidays but this year we had a break from all that and chose Whitby. We all had a great time there are loads and loads of lovely scenery beautiful places if you like walking and Hoseasons Captain Cooks 'Heaven' is in the most beautiful setting we had a great holiday and will definitely book again next year! The location is spectacular - Larpool Viaduct is a most impressive backdrop and provides a quick and scenic walk into Whitby. North Yorkshire Moors Railway close by is another plus obviously popular among other residents too! The accommodation is superb a real home from home - peaceful relaxing - and Whitby is full of possibilities! Mr L
The cottages meet the needs of anyone and the park is in a perfect location to visit Whitby and the surrounding areas. The park is lovely by the River Esk and with the steam trains going by. Mrs B
