Individually set in 40 acres of private woodland the log cabins in Sherwood Forest are your perfect choice for a holiday right in the heart of beautiful Robin Hood Country.

This makes a great all round base for touring with open countryside and cities waiting to be explored. You will find a host of scenic and historic attractions.

For those not wanting to venture too far the park offers a wide range of facilities to suit all ages and all tastes.

Shops are just 2 miles away and the immediate area has many good restaurants and inns. A car is advisable to get the most from your holiday.

The park is in an excellent location and has an excellent range of facilities for children and there are lots of interesting places to visit within a short distance. Our two children (aged 14 and 12) loved animal corner and visited daily and they also enjoyed the archery tuition available on site. We all had a very relaxing holiday and would consider visiting this park again. Mr B

The park is full of entertainment for all the family. Our 2 year old granddaughter absolutely loved the Castle and all its facilities - it was difficult to get her to leave the site. Rufford Abbey Country Park is just across the road and we really enjoyed its extensive grounds where we fed ducks and Genevieve played in the play areas and I wheeled the pram round the arboretum to get our grandson to sleep. There is also such a lot to do in the area when you do leave the park. Mrs D

I would highly recommend this park to anyone who has a family as the park caters for children of all ages even the very young. The location of the park is excellent with all major attractions only a short drive or walk away. The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable with excellent amenities. An excellent quiet site suitable for families with a wide age range of children. We are a family of 5. My husband is disabled and we have 3 special needs children aged from 7 - 16 years. All of us were very happy with our weekend break. The staff are friendly and accomodating of all of the needs of the children and my husband and we would all highly recommend the archery. A very affordable holiday with high standards of accommodation facilities and lots to do both on and off site. Mr A
