Individually set in 40 acres of private woodland the log cabins in Sherwood Forest are your perfect choice for a holiday right in the heart of beautiful Robin Hood Country.

This makes a great all round base for touring with open countryside and cities waiting to be explored. You will find a host of scenic and historic attractions.

For those not wanting to venture too far the park offers a wide range of facilities to suit all ages and all tastes.

Shops are just 2 miles away and the immediate area has many good restaurants and inns. A car is advisable to get the most from your holiday.

The staff were the most friendly I have met this was not just the receptionist but the gardeners handymen etc. The animal corner was a lovely touch for the little ones our daughter named the cat Ginger! The accommodation was very good value for money with good facilities inside and so quiet in the evenings too. The location is central to Nottingham Lincoln etc with the woods great fun for dens etc - we will bring our bikes next time thanks! Mrs S

Five adults and three children (aged 73 and 2) had a great holiday. The lodges were just the job for us all and it was a good base for visiting all the attractions around the Nottinghamshire area. Mr C

Some of the staff were not very approachable. I phoned before arrival to ask about washing facilities and was assured that there would be a washing machine and clothes horse. There was no clothes horse on arrival and when I asked at reception I was told they did not supply them! On the last day of the holiday I found out that other lodges did have them! I also felt that the lodge was dusty and not very clean. The information did not say that we would have to provide our own towels washing up liquid bin bags toilet roll dish cloths etc. Considering how much we paid for the holiday I feel that some of this should have been provided.
