Conveniently situated between the historic City of York and the beautiful market town of Beverley Yellowtop offers a tranquil and stylish retreat and a gateway to the breathtaking Yorkshire Wolds. A small development of lodges each overlooking a picturesque lake affords visitors a safe and secure environment to enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating holiday or short break.

Excellent coarse fishing* opportunities are available for all ages and abilities and if you are looking for lovely walks there is a direct link to a beautiful bridleway and nature trail network from the park. Children can feed the ducks and collect the eggs or watch the wildlife.

The pretty local village is just 2 miles away and hosts a good selection of shops. A laundry room* and internet kiosk are available on site. *Charges apply.

I would recommend this holiday as it was a really nice relaxing break with pretty much everything included. The kitchen was very well equipped the hot tub was lovely and the views out over the lake were really nice and relaxing not to mention the extremely tame ducks and fish that you can feed right outside the balcony. We chose this particular park based on the fact that it was self catering and we could either cook at the lodge or go out also we had a hot tub to look forward to once our little girl had gone to bed. The free range hens were an excellent idea and the fact that you could go along to the coup each morning to collect eggs for your breakfast was an excellent touch which my little girl loved - overall a top holiday! A fantastic relaxing break excellent clean accommodation containing everything needed for a stress free holiday. The staff went above and beyond with their friendliness and helpfulness. A fabulous location within easy driving distance of York Beverley and the York designer outlet. The hot tub was well used! The free fresh eggs in the morning was a lovely bonus. Mrs H

Kings Head Pub 2 miles walk (ride) food is fabulous. View from lodge onto lake (if on lakeside) fabulous. Villages nearby very beautiful and locals extremely helpful and friendly. Feeding ducks and geese was the highlight of the day as there was nothing else to do but we still enjoyed the holiday but would not go back to same location. Village contained good food store so we went short of nothing. Beverley is also a good town for all the main shops and York is exceptional (only 12 miles from site). Car is essential if staying at this lodge. Hot tub was the only luxury at the lodge but was extremely good. Mrs K
