Jorvik Lodge at York Lakeside Lodges

This splendid family run park is set in wooded grounds with a beautiful lake as its centrepiece. It offers you a real taste of the countryside yet the centre of historic York is just two miles away. A bus service goes to the city centre every 10 minutes from the nearby Tesco superstore and the railway line runs behind the park.

You are within easy reach of York's main ring road ideal for an outing to the seaside moors or dales. The resident owners are at hand for friendly help and advice.

Excellent year round fishing is available for carp bream trench roach and pike on the beautiful 10 acre lake (Adults £20pw Senior citizens and children £10pw each). Wireless internet access £5.

What a great facility even if you do not fish. Park and ride facilities shopping facilities are all within walking distance and there are areas for kids to play in front of lodges with other kids smf you can still keep an eye on them. A great facility with a quiet sense of community. Mr. T

A beautiful location and ideal if you are a fisherman. A very comfortable base for taking day trips into York and the surrounding areas via a park and ride at Tesco's car park. Mrs C

The park lake and surroundings were peaceful and lovely. We were left in peace to get on with our holiday. Although secluded the park was very close to shops and transport. Mr W
