If peace and quiet and time to unwind is what your looking for its amazing! Some great local attractions too Howard Castle is a 15 minute drive and is a must and the local park and ride to York is excellent. A wonderful holiday at your own pace. Mrs I
Ideally located for York and the beautiful North York Moors and why not stay in the lodge and take advantage of the hot tub. It is fantastic any time of the day and is particularly magical under the stars! Mrs G
This is a holiday for complete relaxation. If you love wildlife there is an abundance or if you love architecture there is plenty in York. If you love picturesque villages they are on your doorstep or you can just sit in the hot tub surrounded by trees and watch the squirrels and a vast array of birds and chill out. Don't forget to take some peanuts and they will come very close to you. They also have a badger set which you can view on TV or take a walk to see but we were not lucky enough to see them while we were there maybe because we retired early and badgers are night animals.
