Gwel an Mor whose Cornish name means 'view of the sea' is set in a stunning location perched on a hilltop overlooking the ocean and just a short walk from the beach. Voted one of the top ten coastal holidays by the Guardian in 2008.

Close to the fishing village of Portreath this stylish holiday village holds the < >David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation and is the perfect place for a family holiday or romantic break. The club house includes an indoor heated swimming pool together with jacuzzi steam room and sauna. I would recommend this park to friends basically because it is more up market and a large step up from Pontins Butlins and other holiday park chains that that seem to offer the same loud and less discreet holiday to the less discerning holiday maker wishing to take a break in the UK. Everything from start to finish was excellent. I have been coming to Cornwall nearly every year ever since I was a young lad but have never been so impressed than at Gwen an Mor. The accommodation location and staff were excellent! Mr R
