Gwel an Mor whose Cornish name means 'view of the sea' is set in a stunning location perched on a hilltop overlooking the ocean and just a short walk from the beach. Voted one of the top ten coastal holidays by the Guardian in 2008.

Close to the fishing village of Portreath this stylish holiday village holds the < >David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation and is the perfect place for a family holiday or romantic break. The club house includes an indoor heated swimming pool together with jacuzzi steam room and sauna. The lodges are first class accommodation with all the facilities you require for a home away from home. The location is perfect for a family holiday with young children with a lovely sandy and quiet beach within a short walk. Mr G

I would recommend this park to friends basically because it is more up market and a large step up from Pontins Butlins and other holiday park chains that that seem to offer the same loud and less discreet holiday to the less discerning holiday maker wishing to take a break in the UK. Everything from start to finish was excellent. I have been coming to Cornwall nearly every year ever since I was a young lad but have never been so impressed than at Gwen an Mor. The accommodation location and staff were excellent! Mr R

Gwel an Mor is a truly excellent place to stay and we could not find any bad points. The lodges were extremely clean and well equipped to an very high standard. The staff were helpful and friendly and the park is in a good position. Gwel an Mor is an excellent place to stay one of the best I would say and I am fussy! Miss C
