Gwel an Mor whose Cornish name means 'view of the sea' is set in a stunning location perched on a hilltop overlooking the ocean and just a short walk from the beach. Voted one of the top ten coastal holidays by the Guardian in 2008.

Close to the fishing village of Portreath this stylish holiday village holds the < >David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation and is the perfect place for a family holiday or romantic break. The club house includes an indoor heated swimming pool together with jacuzzi steam room and sauna. This place is an absolute must. Had a truly lovely week in the comfortable surroundings of our lodge Mrs M

You could not fault the accommodation. It was very clean very modern and had all the facilities and equipment you could possibly need. It was a home away from home. If you have small children then there is a built in stairgate at the top of the stairs which was fantastic. The onsite leisure facilities were also very good - a lovely indoor pool a gym a childrens play area and a bar / restaurant. The staff were always very helpful and friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Mrs C

Gwel an Mor is a truly excellent place to stay and we could not find any bad points. The lodges were extremely clean and well equipped to an very high standard. Absolutely fantastic! Sitting on the balcony watching the sun go down over the ocean was wonderful and to arrive somewhere thats already been made 'baby proof' with stairgates etc was a blessing. We will definitely be booking up again soon!! Mr C

I would recommend this park to friends basically because it is more up market and a large step up from Pontins Butlins and other holiday park chains that that seem to offer the same loud and less discreet holiday to the less discerning holiday maker wishing to take a break in the UK. Everything from start to finish was excellent. I have been coming to Cornwall nearly every year ever since I was a young lad but have never been so impressed than at Gwen an Mor. The accommodation location and staff were excellent! Mr R

Excellent standard of accommodation with thoughtful 5 star touches staff helpful and knowledgeable about local area on site restaurant food and service to high standard but competitively priced. Just a pity Hoseasons or the site couldn't arrange the weather! have recommended it to several friends and would go back again. Mr S
