Ashlea Pools is set in one of the most beautiful tranquil parts of south Shropshire and holds the David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation.

It is surrounded by rolling hills picturesque valleys and many places of interest. An ideal centre for walking exploring the market towns of Ludlow Church Stretton Bishop's Castle and historic Shrewsbury. Step back in time at Ironbridge Gorge and Blists Hill Open Air Museum (30 miles) or just relax and watch the wild birds and waterfowl on the lake.

The park is lovely and our lodge was situated by a large pond with ducks and numerous birds - the view from our balcony was lovely! The staff were very friendly and efficient and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a wonderful place if you are looking for a quiet peaceful break. Mr B

If you want a holiday to get away from all it this is the one for you. My husband and I are both in the process of writing a book and found the environment conducive to creative thought. We did our writing in the morning and went walking in the afternoon. Mrs A
