The ideal retreat luxurious and blissful and yet so much to do within a short distance away. The lodge was so perfect I wanted to stay there too! Mr L
A fantastic holiday! We went with 8 week old baby but it was one of the most relaxing holidays we've ever had. Very modern lodge and we could honestly live there - I would highly recommend it! Mrs B
It's a good place to relax and unwind after working hard all week. I've already recommended it to several work colleagues. Mrs C
This was a superb break enjoyed by all the family. Thyme Lodge is decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The views over the fields were lovely particularly as we visited in Spring when all the lambs were running around. The hot tub was wonderful and all 4 of our children (ages 4 - 15) made full use of it. Excellent and great value for money I would recommend this holiday to anyone - 5 days wasn't enough. Mrs P
The accommodation was excellent a beautiful lodge the hot tub was brilliant and the proximity to York ideal. There is lots to do and the travel into York was very easy with the Park and Ride service just a 10 minute drive away. If you like peaceful rural accommodation then this is definitely a great place to stay! Mrs N
The accommodation is fabulous! Miss B
Yes very enjoyable. Mr C
I would definitely recommend this holiday to anyone who wanted complete relaxation. Mr L
We have stayed in various log cabins over the past 8 years but this was certainly the best. The standard was excellent and the park managers/owners were most helpful. All round excellent value and the hot tub was an added bonus - just the way to ease aching muscles at the end of a long days walking! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly return and recommend you to our friends. Mrs G
The park was lovely and peaceful and very serene for a relaxing break although we spent most of our time visting the many attractions in the surrounding area. There are plenty of places to see not too far from the lodge so not too much time is spent in the car and the hot tub was the star of the holiday after a days sightseeing. We just wish we had booked another week so we could relax and watch all the DVD's we brought and the books we had hoped to read when we decided to have a relaxing holiday in the Yokshire countryside. We loved the area and were tempted to move there permanently - a great place!!!!!! Mrs B
