The accommodation was excellent a beautiful lodge the hot tub was brilliant and the proximity to York ideal. There is lots to do and the travel into York was very easy with the Park and Ride service just a 10 minute drive away. tHE Standard of the Lodge its furnishings gardens and hot tub was absolutely first class. The location was ideal for sightseeing and there was an abundance of excellent dining places - I couldn't fault it in any way! Mrs F

If you want a chill-out break this is fab we used the hot-tub several times a day and in between watch DVDs there was everything you needed in the lodge. We really enjoyed the break and will be looking at other locations to book again. Many Thanks. Miss D

We have stayed in various log cabins over the past 8 years but this was certainly the best. The standard was excellent and the park managers/owners were most helpful. All round excellent value and the hot tub was an added bonus - just the way to ease aching muscles at the end of a long days walking!
