Otters Holt at Bulworthy Forest Lodges

In an idyllic setting surrounded by an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity these secluded lodges are nestled in 25 acres of woodland and boast five well stocked fishing lakes. Situated between the North Devon towns of Bideford Barnstaple and Torrington the lodges are set down a picturesque tree lined woodland drive at the entrance to Bulworthy Forest and offer the perfect environment for a relaxing and memorable holiday. There is a sandy beach just 5 miles away with shops and a pub within 4 miles.

Enjoy the free carp and coarse fishing available. The beautiful surrounding woods invite leisurely rambles and are home to an abundance of wildlife and a variety of flora and fauna.

Due to the steep gradients and steps Bulworthy Forest Lodges are not suitable for wheelchair users or persons with severe mobility difficulties.

Being Devon you are pretty central to most places and its a very peaceful area. If you are a fisherman as I am then you have free fishing on your door step - great! Mrs H

The park was very secluded which suited us fine and was very peaceful. The lodge was very clean with all the basic amenities it also had a washing machine which was fantastic. Our 2 boys loved the lake and seemed to develop a surprising amount of patience whilst fishing there which was rewarded by catching several fish. The lodge is also situated within easy access to lots of great places to visit. Mrs. P
