It is situated in an elevated position above Coniston Water with views of the Old Man of Coniston and surrounding fells. Ideal base for touring the lakes with all main attractions within easy reach. Well equipped accommodation in a very beautiful and tranquil setting. The site is peaceful and offered us a great base for exploring the local area of Coniston and with easy access to routes further afield in this lovely part of the Lake District. We all loved the balcony with our ever changing view of The Old Man of Coniston and surrounding fells. We would definitely stay at this site again as it suited our needs for a relaxing and peaceful week away. Mrs T

Excellent little site lodge was really comfortable. People who own/run site are very helpfull and really nice people. Site was nice and quiet -dog friendly(thats why we went) No shop on site though and nearest shop is a car journey away(Coniston) We would go again Roy Debbie and Alfie the Jack Russell Terrier Mr H
