Our "Best in Britain 2009" award winning park Darwin Forest in the heart of the Peak District is the perfect woodland setting for you to relax enjoy your holiday and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind.
This David Bellamy Gold Award winning park is situated in a peaceful location between Matlock and Bakewell in the Derbyshire Dales and only 5 miles from Chatsworth House. This is an ideal spot from which to explore the moors dales and picturesque villages and towns of the Peak District one of the most popular National Parks in the world.
The Evolution Leisure Centre includes a large indoor swimming pool gym spa steam room and sauna as well as massage and beauty therapy facilities.
A state of the art indoor children's play zone - brand new for 2010 - will provide hours of fun and entertainment for younger children.
Your fully insulated lodge is warm and snug in winter cool in the heat of summer and discreetly positioned within the beautiful woodland setting.

I would recommend this park as it was very peaceful but there were plenty of amenities and activities on site and the staff were very friendly. The lodges were clean and the open plan kitchen lounge and dining room are a good size. We came back very relaxed and would definitely return. Miss C

The accomodation and park was excellent. Private little garden behind our decking area perfect for our children to play safely whilst we relaxed in the lodge. Swimming pool was just the right size and never seemed to be too crowded. Cleanliness was superb everywhere we will definetly visit again. Mrs C

We really enjoyed our stay finding the holiday park relaxing and very pretty. There was lots of wildlife to see right outside your door and the added bonus of the pool with very clean changing facilities was also excellent. We would definitely return and recommend it to friends. Mrs F
