Our "Best in Britain 2009" award winning park Darwin Forest in the heart of the Peak District is the perfect woodland setting for you to relax enjoy your holiday and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind.
This David Bellamy Gold Award winning park is situated in a peaceful location between Matlock and Bakewell in the Derbyshire Dales and only 5 miles from Chatsworth House. This is an ideal spot from which to explore the moors dales and picturesque villages and towns of the Peak District one of the most popular National Parks in the world.
The Evolution Leisure Centre includes a large indoor swimming pool gym spa steam room and sauna as well as massage and beauty therapy facilities.
A state of the art indoor children's play zone - brand new for 2010 - will provide hours of fun and entertainment for younger children.

We really enjoyed our visit in our mind this suited our family far better than the likes of Centre Parcs. The park is well located close to Matlock Bakewell and Chesterfield and the facilities at the park were very good we had a lot of fun in the pool and also used the childrens soft play area. It was also handy having the shop and pub on site. Mrs T
The accomodation and park was excellent. Private little garden behind our decking area perfect for our children to play safely whilst we relaxed in the lodge. Swimming pool was just the right size and never seemed to be too crowded. Cleanliness was superb everywhere we will definetly visit again. Mrs C

The park is very friendly and peaceful and the design of the park gives you the feeling of your lodge being totally isolated. Mr P
