Our "Best in Britain 2009" award winning park Darwin Forest in the heart of the Peak District is the perfect woodland setting for you to relax enjoy your holiday and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind.
This David Bellamy Gold Award winning park is situated in a peaceful location between Matlock and Bakewell in the Derbyshire Dales and only 5 miles from Chatsworth House. This is an ideal spot from which to explore the moors dales and picturesque villages and towns of the Peak District one of the most popular National Parks in the world.
The Evolution Leisure Centre includes a large indoor swimming pool gym spa steam room and sauna as well as massage and beauty therapy facilities.
A state of the art indoor children's play zone - brand new for 2010 - will provide hours of fun and entertainment for younger children.

Great self catering facilities and with two children under five it was great not having to take everything with you ie bedding towels etc. The kitchen is very well equipped the standard of accommodation is high and good value and the staff are great! Mr E

There are woodland walks and bike rides with swimming gym and beauty facilities on site. There is also a pub should you wish for a night out or a bar meal. Mrs M
The accomodation and park was excellent. Private little garden behind our decking area perfect for our children to play safely whilst we relaxed in the lodge. Swimming pool was just the right size and never seemed to be too crowded. Cleanliness was superb everywhere we will definetly visit again. Mrs C
