It has a wonderful quiet position and you could be miles from anywhere. However within minutes you are on a major road linking York to the coast. Lots to do if you want to venture out but wonderful peace and quiet if you don't. Mr R

my new husband and I had a short break at Griffon Forest york and had a fantastic relaxing time. after the stress of organising a wedding we had a lovely time sitting in the hot tub every day the kitchen in the lodge was very well stocked the lodge and grounds well maintained. we couldnt find any faults. very good holiday. This was our second holiday at Griffon Forest. We like to go there just to relax but there are plenty of places to visit in the area if you want to keep busy. The park is very tranquil a great getaway from it all place plus you have the bonus of the hot tub! Mrs R
Very romantic and peaceful setting. Celebrated our first anniversary cut off from the rest of the world in a wonderful location in the woods. The hot tubs on the timber deck were great especially after dark. Will be going back time and time again! Mr E
This is a fantastic place to get away from everything. The accommodation is set in the middle of woodland and is so peaceful. The little things like pint of milk left in the fridge and a pack of biscuits make it so welcoming and friendly. I would go back definitely! Miss F
