These luxury lodges offer the perfect retreat for those seeking a break away in a relaxed and picturesque environment just a short drive from the bustling market town of Thirsk and city of York nestled on the doorstep of the North Yorkshire Moors.

As the name would suggest the lodges have been designed around impressive and well stocked pleasure and match fishing lakes catering for all ages and abilities. There is a superb contemporary bar and restaurant.

There is also plenty to see and do in the local area with cathedral cities of York and Ripon both within easy reach. The lodge was excellent modern and very clean with everything you needed plus the added bonus of a hot tub. A central location for places in Yorkshire Lightwater valley Forbidden corner and an excellent rail connection to York from Thirsk railway station. There are thirteen superb fishing lakes on site and fantastic food at the Watermill on site too. The staff are very friendly and overall a five star break! Mrs G
