Just 8 miles from sandy beaches this is an ideal touring base for Dumfries and Galloway Wigtownshire and the rest of Scotland's South West Border country. Castle Douglas is particularly suitable for sightseeing and for relaxation. The location is very quiet and peaceful with lots of space between each lodge giving plenty of privacy. The owner was very pleasant and helpful as were the rest of the staff. Mrs W

This is a perfect location for peace and quiet and a time to chill out. It is a very good spot to travel to other places from and only about an hour from Gretna Green. There are plenty of things to see and do. Mr W
