I have already recommended this to others. It is a lovely place - easy to get to Rudyard lake where there is walking cycling boating and a small steam railway. The accommodation is very good - we particularly enjoyed the log burning stove and the hot tub. Mrs C

If you love the countryside its perfect and central to everything you might need or want to do. There is a great view of the lake from the lodge and the hot tub is ace! Old or young you can't fail to enjoy! Mrs S
