Set in rural location close to Hadrian's Wall Springhouse Country Park is a superb base from which to explore this magical area and is home to a superb array of wildlife. You can discover many great walks through the beautiful local countryside right on your doorstep.
Nearby Hexham with its ancient Abbey is well worth a visit. Charming villages and great country pubs are a plenty. Durham Newcastle Northumberland National Park and the breathtaking North East coastline are also within easy reach.

Springhouse Country Park is in a lovely rural and peaceful setting - not for those looking for clubs and nights out. An ideal base for visiting attractions in the surrounding area and Northumberland is full of pretty villages and lots of castles! Mrs R
I would recommend this holiday to anyone that likes quiet and long tranquil walks. Its also a must if you have dogs as the walks through the pine forest are great for dogs that love to explore! Mrs M
