Set in rural location close to Hadrian's Wall Springhouse Country Park is a superb base from which to explore this magical area and is home to a superb array of wildlife. You can discover many great walks through the beautiful local countryside right on your doorstep.
Nearby Hexham with its ancient Abbey is well worth a visit. Charming villages and great country pubs are a plenty. Durham Newcastle Northumberland National Park and the breathtaking North East coastline are also within easy reach.

I would recommend this holiday to anyone that likes quiet and long tranquil walks. Its also a must if you have dogs as the walks through the pine forest are great for dogs that love to explore! Mrs M
This park was a good place to explore Hexham Corbridge Hadrian's Wall Cragside Alnwick Castle and other places of interest such as Wallington. It was a peaceful location and there was a lot of nice walks in the surrounding locale. Mrs S

Surrounded by miles and miles of beautiful English countryside a tranquil and relaxed atmosphere. Rabbits run around the park and are outside your caravan when you wake and the birds singing - sheer heaven!! There are no pubs or clubs - fantastic - just wonderful peace. Also just a car ride to numerous coastal resorts. Mrs M
