Set in rural location close to Hadrian's Wall Springhouse Country Park is a superb base from which to explore this magical area and is home to a superb array of wildlife. You can discover many great walks through the beautiful local countryside right on your doorstep.

Nearby Hexham with its ancient Abbey is well worth a visit. Charming villages and great country pubs are a plenty. Durham Newcastle Northumberland National Park and the breathtaking North East coastline are also within easy reach.

The park is in a beautiful setting with superb walks/runs on the doorstep. It is a safe and quiet area for young children to play in and the staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending Springhouse Country Park to other families. Mrs H

We had a lovely time. The park is small and relaxing with rabbits round nearly every corner the staff couldn't do enough to help and a visit to Kielder Water is a must for anyone staying here. The nearest town of Hexham has a good selection of shops with plenty of parking. We hope to go again sometime. Mrs D

We had a wonderful time my parents were impressed by the size of the accommodation and the cleanliess. The children thoroughly enjoyed it too as they were able to play out safely and we could see them from where we were - thank you so much! Mrs M
