For those not wanting to venture too far the park offers a wide range of facilities to suit all ages and all tastes.

Shops are just 2 miles away and the immediate area has many good restaurants and inns. A car is advisable to get the most from your holiday.

Both me and my friend are profoundly deaf the staff were very helpful even ordering us a takeaway and bringing some medication one night when i was ill. I would say this type of holiday is fantastic for deaf people and very relaxing the staff were all great and wrote everything down for us if the staff had some deaf awareness training i would say you could advertised castle holiday as deaf friendly we will definitely be holidaying with you again thanks for wonderful break Lynne Swarbrick . Very clean and up to date lodges a lot more room than expected wonderfull views and lots on site to do. Very central to every thing even Tesco's. My two year old loved all the freedom and we loved the security of the place. Well worth a visit. Mr S

We had a fantastic time at Sherwood Castle. The log cabin was immaculately clean spacious and had a warm homely feel. Everywhere on the park was very clean and well kept and the staff were all extremely friendly kind and helpful. My 9 year old niece loved every minute we visited the animal corner and the indoor games facilities every day. The price of the holiday and on site activities was exceptional value for money and does not reflect the quality of the park. Should you wish to venture outside there are beautiful forest parks within a few minutes drive. We can't wait to come again and will recommend it to everybody! Book up now!!! Mrs S
