Spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding countryside are afforded by the cottages all of which date back to the 17th Century. Within 2 miles are the amenities of Llanfair Caereinion and golf and a leisure centre are available in the picturesque nearby market town of Welshpool. Oswestry Newtown Powis Castle the steam railway
