Gwel an Mor whose Cornish name means 'view of the sea' is set in a stunning location perched on a hilltop overlooking the ocean and just a short walk from the beach. Voted one of the top ten coastal holidays by the Guardian in 2008.

Close to the fishing village of Portreath this stylish holiday village holds the < >David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation and is the perfect place for a family holiday or romantic break. This was a fantastic site. We had a home with a hot tub which was an instant hit! The facilities are excellent and Portreath is nearby although a shop on site would be good to save on the trek up the hill. Nearby beaches such as Godrevy were excellent and it was a good base to tour both the North and South coasts of Cornwall. The Terrace offered great food and a good atmosphere. Our kids want to come again! Mr S
