It is situated in an elevated position above Coniston Water with views of the Old Man of Coniston and surrounding fells. Ideal base for touring the lakes with all main attractions within easy reach. If you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil place then Crake Valley is the place to be. There are some beautiful walks in the surrounding area even just having a day relaxing in the wonderful well equipped caravan is the perfect relaxation tonic. If you fancy a night off from cooking then there is a great country pub at the cross roads in Torver where you can get a hearty meal at a reasonable price and the atmosphere is very warm welcoming and friendly - well recommended!!
